Up the Zeta valley to Nikšić
From the airport at Golubovci the road skirts Podgorica and follows the Zeta river north-west through Danilovgrad, a small market town on the way. The valley then opens onto the Nikšić plain, about 60 km from the terminal. Nikšić is Montenegro's second city, home to the Trebjesa brewery, a university and heavy industry, and the usual starting point for Durmitor, Žabljak and the mountain north.
