Prepare before you travel
Download Blic Taxi and sign in before you leave home. The minutes after landing — with luggage in hand and a queue at passport control behind you — are not the moment to set up a new app.
Sort out internet access
The app needs an internet connection to request rides. EU roaming packages, a local SIM or eSIM, or the airport Wi-Fi all work. If you plan to rely on Wi-Fi, request your ride before leaving the terminal area.
Plan for your luggage
Standard taxi vehicles handle regular suitcases comfortably. If you travel with bulky items — bikes, surf gear, a stroller and bags for a family — mention it in the app where possible, or plan for a bit of flexibility at pickup.
Choose an airport pickup point
At both airports, set your pickup pin at a clearly visible spot outside the terminal. Watch the driver's live position in the app and step out to meet the car as it arrives.
Allow extra time
Driver availability may vary depending on your location, time and nearby online drivers. On the day of a flight, request your ride with a generous buffer — coastal roads in July and August carry heavy traffic.
Tivat Airport
Tivat Airport sits right on the coast, next to Tivat itself and a short drive from Kotor and Budva. It is the natural arrival point for stays anywhere around the Bay of Kotor and the Budva riviera.
Podgorica Airport
Podgorica Airport serves the capital and central Montenegro, and works well for southern coastal towns such as Bar and Ulcinj. The drive to the city centre is short; journeys to the coast take longer, so plan accordingly.
