Blic Taxi is free to download from the App Store and Google Play. The same app covers the whole network: 17 towns from Herceg Novi to Ulcinj and inland to Podgorica, Nikšić, Cetinje, Kolašin and Žabljak, plus Tivat Airport and Podgorica Airport. One download is enough for the entire trip — there is no separate app per city and no account per region.
The app is built for people who arrive with a phone and nothing else: no local SIM required if you have roaming or Wi-Fi at the moment of booking, no cash negotiation at the roadside and no need to know a taxi number. Locals use it for the same reason — ordering a car takes a few taps and the ride is documented.
Installing and setting up before you travel
The best time to install Blic Taxi is at home, on your own Wi-Fi, before the flight. Download the app, sign in with your phone number and let it finish its first setup. That way the app is ready the moment you land in Tivat or Podgorica, instead of asking you to complete registration in a crowded arrivals hall on airport Wi-Fi.
Allow location access when the app asks — it is what places your pickup pin correctly — and keep notifications on so you see when a driver accepts and when the car is close. If you prefer not to share your location, you can still place the pickup pin manually on the map.
Ten languages, one interface
Blic Taxi runs in English, Montenegrin, Russian, German, Ukrainian, Polish, French, Turkish, Spanish and Albanian. The app follows your phone's language automatically; this website mirrors the same 10 languages, so the guide you read before the trip and the screen you see during it use the same words for pickup, destination and receipt.
Because the pickup and destination travel as a map pin rather than as a spoken address, the language of the driver and the language of the passenger never have to match.
Your data, your account
Your account keeps your ride history and receipts together, which is what makes expense reporting and cost-splitting simple later. If you ever want to leave, the account can be deleted from within the app or through the account deletion page linked below — the request is handled according to the privacy policy, with no phone call required.
