Drive with Blic Taxi

Blic Taxi Driver is the professional side of the Blic Taxi platform. Passengers request rides in the passenger app; licensed drivers who are online nearby see those requests in the driver app, accept the ones that suit them and manage the trip from pickup to completion on one screen. Requests, active rides, completed trips and an activity overview live in the same place — no phone dispatch, no handwritten notes.

The platform is only for licensed taxi drivers operating in Montenegro. That is not a formality: it is the reason passengers — many of them visitors who cannot judge a car at the roadside — trust a request sent through the app. Every application is reviewed by the Blic Taxi team before a driver goes online.

Applications are open to drivers who hold a valid taxi licence for Montenegro and operate a vehicle that meets the requirements for licensed passenger transport. The team checks licence and vehicle documents as part of the review; submitting the form does not by itself approve a driver, and the application page explains what is needed.

Drivers already working with a local association or on their own can use Blic Taxi alongside their existing work. You decide when you are online. Requests come from passengers across 17 towns and both airports, with the highest demand in Budva, Kotor, Tivat and Podgorica and around flight arrivals at Tivat Airport and Podgorica Airport.

When you are online, a nearby request appears with the pickup point and destination already set by the passenger on the map. You see enough to decide quickly — accept or decline. Once you accept, the passenger sees your vehicle details and your live position, so they are ready at the pin when you arrive instead of describing a landmark over the phone.

Pickup and destination stay on your screen during the trip. You drive the route as a professional would — traffic, roadworks and access restrictions are your call — and complete the ride in the app when the passenger is dropped off. The completed trip is stored in your history, and the passenger receives a PDF receipt from the same record.

Much of a taxi driver's lost time is spent finding passengers: circling a resort with several entrances, interpreting a vague address, or waiting at the wrong side of a pedestrian zone. Map-based requests cut most of that out. The pin is where the passenger is standing, and the passenger can see you approach, so fewer trips end as no-shows and more of your online time is spent driving.

Passengers are also asked to cancel early if their plans change, to add a note for tricky pickups and to be at the pin when the car is close. The same clarity that helps a visitor find their car helps you fill the hour with completed rides.
